08/05/2017: TRANSFER OF CONSULAR JURISDICTION OVER FRENCH POLYNESIA

The public is advised that, per Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Department Order (D.O.) No 05-2017 dated 5 April 2017, consular jurisdiction over French Polynesia has been transferred from the Philippine Consulate General Honolulu (Honolulu PCG) to the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, Canada.

Under the same D.O., Honolulu PCG continues to exercise consular jurisdiction over Hawaii and American Samoa.

Filipinos residing in French Polynesia are advised to contact the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa (http://ottawape.dfa.gov.ph/) if they wish to avail themselves of consular services.

Consular jurisdiction refers to a territory over which a Post is responsible for consular and Assistance to Nationals (ATN) services. END.
