16 June 2011 - Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III signed Presidential Proclamation No. 182, dated 3 June 2011, entitled " Declaring a National and International Promotion Campaign for the Puerto Princesa Underground River as One of the New Seven Wonders of Nature".

In support of our government's campaign to include the Puerto Princesa Underground River as one of the new "7 Wonders of Nature" contest, conducted by a Swiss-based, government-controlled foundation, the Consulate enjoins all Filipinos in Hawaii to rally behind the information dissemination campaign until the proclamation of winners on 11 November 2011.
